so, it is now officially summer.
It's been a while since I've blogged, and a lot has happened in the past..ohh i don't know, 4 months?
I'm officially a junior in high school! yes, I'm an upper-classman! I've become a better student this year, by really focusing on what teachers assign me, and when I do something wrong, I make sure to listen so I can figure out how to fix it.
I've become a more mature person, and I am trying not to let the catty/mean girls get to me. I have become stronger thanks to this year. Through the painful nights of just wanting to sit in my bed and cry, to the nights where I thought I was going to run away..i made it. But I can assure you there are more hard times to come.
That's what High School is all about. Finding who you are as a person, and overcoming problems. I still have two more years to figure out who I am going to be, and all I know is that I want to over-come my problems, and show everybody that I am a strong girl who can stand up for herself.
I want to take a moment and thank my friends who have been there for me this year. You have NO IDEA what your support means. Even though you may not know that I am going through a difficult time, just being friends with you and being able to talk and hang out with you means a lot. I love you guys so much, and I am really happy we are friends.
Hey girl! I can totally relate to this post! :) And I definitely agree: don't let catty or mean girls get to you! They only want to drag you down to their level, and you can't let them. I just graduated high school, and am just glad to be where I am right now. Enjoy the time you have left in high school, so later you can look back on it fondly.
